Ely Eleandre Basiño Buendia or Ely Buendia for short is the vocalist of the famous and iconic OPM rock band Eraserheads. In a previous article, he shared that in reality, he and his bandmates were really not that close and their song “Minsan” is not about them. However, he stressed that they have a good working relationship only that in 2002, they decided to disband when he left 13 years after being with them.

He was criticized for telling the truth that they were never really friends and lambasted those comments that slammed him. Currently, he is the guitarist and singer-songwriter of the band Apartel. He joined the bands such as The Mongols, Pupils, and Oktaves before following E-heads disbanded.
