Oil Firms Set To Implement Another Pump Price Hike June 1, 2021
Several oil companies in the country would implement another pump price hike starting on Tuesday (June 1, 2021).
Numerous gasoline station in the Philippines are set to impose another increase on prices of petroleum products this week. It is the seventh straight week for diesel and second for gasoline.
The oil firms would start to impose the oil price adjustments at 6 a.m. on Tuesday (June 1), which is quite a bad welcome for the month of June.
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp would charge an additional amount of P0.80 per liter of gasoline, P0.40 per liter of diesel, and P0.25 per liter of kerosene. Other petroleum companies would make similar announcements later this week.
The Department of Energy (DOE) has also release the latest data available showing the year-to-date adjustments. The date shows a total net increase of P8.50 per liter of gasoline, P7.20 per liter of diesel, and P5.85 per liter of kerosene.
The soaring prices of petroleum products would surely affect the Filipino motorists who were using gasoline and diesel for their vehicles. It may add to the burden of some of our country especially the PUV drivers.
