Oil Firms To Implement Another Pump Price Hike This Week

OIL PRICE HIKE – Several oil firms announced another pump price hike for petroleum products for third straight week.

ON Monday (May 3, 2021), some oil companies announced another increase with prices of petroleum products. The price adjustment is expected to take effect on Tuesday morning (May 4, 2021).

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation set an increase of P0.20 increase per liter of gasoline, P0.35 per liter of diesel and P0.35 per liter of kerosene. It is the third consecutive week of increases.

Cleanfuel would also impose the same price changes for the price of diesel while gasoline price will remain the same and it does not carry kerosene. The gasoline station will implement the changes at 4:01 pm.

Other oil companies have yet to make similar announcements regarding adjustment of petroleum products within this week.

The Department of Energy (DOE) release the latest date showing the year-to-date adjustments at a net increase of P7.60 per liter of gasoline, P5.70 per liter of diesel, and P4.95 per liter of kerosene.
