Oil Firms to Implement Another Pump Price Hike This Week for the 4th Time

Several oil firms are set to implement another pump price hike for fourth straight week starting on Tuesday (May 11, 2021).

Some gasoline stations in the Philippines have declared another increase in prices of petroleum products this week. The prices of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene will increase for the fourth time.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. issued an advisory that they will implement an increase of P0.75 per liter of gasoline, P0.70 per liter of diesel and P0.70 per liter of kerosene.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz would also impose similar changes aside from kerosene which they do not carry. Other companies have yet to make similar announcements regarding oil prices later this week.

Clean Fuel would impose the price adjustment at 4:01 pm on Tuesday while all companies would implement the changes as early as 6:00 am on Tuesday.

The Department of Energy (DOE) has released the year-to-date adjustments showing a total net increase of P7.80 per liter of gasoline, P6.05 per liter of diesel, and P5.30 per liter of kerosene.
