Elderly Woman Passes Away After 29-Year-Old Motorcycle Rider Accidentally Hits Her
A poor elderly woman passed away after she been accidentally struck by a motorcycle while crossing along a street in Davao Del Sur.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems in various countries all around the world including the Philippines. It usually causes traffic congestion, injuries or even death.
The Philippine government and authorities are already implementing stricter traffic policy to reduce such incidents. However, accidents are still happening due to the recklessness of some drivers and motorists.
The 85-year-old grandma named Eriberta Famor is currently crossing the road along Barangay Poblacion at the town Matanao when a rushing motorcycle accidentally rammed her last Friday afternoon (May 28, 2021).
Lola Eriberta has been rushed to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment and medication but declared dead-on-arrival after suffering a head injury. The helpless grandma failed to survive because of her old age and frail body.
The 29-year-old motorcycle rider had no driver’s license and his motorcycle was not registered at the Land Transportation Office. The suspect is currently under the custody of Matanao Police.

The police authorities are now preparing the corresponding sanctions and penalties for the suspect who has been identified as Elizard Emperado delos Santos.
