Is it true that the boyfriend of Miss Universe Bulgaria 2020 bought the crown and the title just for her?
MISS UNIVERSE BULGARIA – Miss Bulgaria Radinela Chusheva speaks about rumors against her involving her crown and title.
In a previous article, 18 countries have actually backed out this year and failed to send off a candidate for the Miss Universe pageant because of the travel restrictions brought about by the pandemic. Germany, Angola, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Georgia, Guam, Kenya, Lithuania, Mongolia, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Saint Lucia, Sierra Leone, Sweden, Tanzania, Turkey, and U.S. Virgin Islands are the countries that backed out.
Meanwhile, some have only appointed their candidates for they cannot hold a local pageant still because of the pandemic. There were 30 countries that appointed their delegates and among those is Miss Universe Bulgaria 2020 Radinela Chusheva. She was appointed by her country to represent them in the international pageant and there were accordingly rumors surrounding this matter.
As per the grapevine, Chusheva’s boyfriend bought the crown and the title just for her. Apart from this rumor, she was also criticized and accused of going under the knife to enhance her face and body. Addressing the boyfriend buying the title for her, she refuted such and admitted that she’s currently not in a relationship with someone.
Apparently, the Bulgarian is not new to controversial issues anymore. However, the silver lining she sees in such a situation is knowing that despite the hate she’s been receiving, there are still people who love and accept her. She was actually in favor of the Philippines to win the pageant and bravely objected to the victory of Miss Mexico’s Andrea Meza as Miss Universe 2020.
To recall, during the epic and iconic win of Pia Wurtzbach in Miss Universe 2015, Bulgaria’s Radostina Todorova was awarded as the “Bestie of the Year. She was seen in the camera shouting at Pia and encouraging her to go get the crown following the wrong announcement of winner of host Steve Harvey at that time. Many Filipinos learned to love the Todorova because of the support she’s shown to Pia.
