Her resting face without any emotions is something people assumed as a “Monday mood” and also the mood when their bets weren’t called in the list of finalists. She also had this confused look while intently reading the results of the pageant which people online relayed as their similar reaction when Miss Peru only landed in the list of runners-up.

To recall, Miss Mexico Andrea Meza is this year’s Miss Universe winner and to whom Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi passed the crown. The runners-up are Miss Brazil Julia Gama, Miss PeruJanick Maceta del Castillo, Miss India Adline Castelino, and Miss Dominican Republic Kimberly Jimenez.

And now, finally speaking about her confused face that became a viral meme, Culpo broke her silence and explained on her Instagram the reason why she has that face reaction. Accordingly, she was just fully concentrating while looking at the results carefully reading it to avoid mistakes and she’s “terrified of reading the wrong country”.

She wrote, “Apparently, I need to work on my reading face and I’m sorry if this was misinterpreted in any type of way. I swear I’m just concentrating on the words. Every girl was beautiful and most importantly so sweet and kind”.
