PAGASA Says Typhoon Bising Would Continue to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (April 20)

The state weather bureau PAGASA said that Typhoon Bising would continue to bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Tuesday (April 20, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest update about Typhoon Bising. The typhoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The weather disturbance has maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 215 kph. Bising was last located at 505 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon as it further weakens.

Bising would bring stormy weather condition with moderate to heavy rains over Catanduanes, the eastern portion of Camarines Sur and the eastern portion of Albay. Rains with gusty winds are also expected over Cagayan Valley, the northern portion of Aurora, the eastern portion of Quezon including Polillo Islands, the rest of Bicol Region and the provinces of Samar.

The weather agency also warned the public especially the residents of CAR, the rest of Aurora and the rest of Quezon for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

The localized thunderstorms would bring moderate to at times heavy rains over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.
