PIA WURTZBACH – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach gave these things and will do this for Rabiya Mateo as she finally goes to United States for the Miss Universe pageant.
Last 2015, the country just got its 3rd Miss Universe crown through Pia Wurtzbach along with the historical wrong announcement of the winner of the host Steve Harvey. It was then followed by Catriona Gray winning the 4th crown last Miss Universe 2018 where her flawless performance has definitely set the bar higher for the beauty pageant. And now aiming for the 5th crown is the beauty from Iloilo Rabiya Mateo who won the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 crown.
Last Friday, April 9, Mateo left Manila and headed to the United States where the competition will be held. It will happen in Hollywood, Florida on May 16 (US time). ‘Lalaban para sa bayan,’Â she quipped in an Instagram post as she waved the Philippine flag before departing. In one of her interviews, she vowed to do her best and give everything she for the country and have the crown again. If she wins, she will be joining the line of winners: Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
And heading to the venue of the 69th Miss Universe pageant, Wurtzbach prepared something for her. It’s accordingly a care package which she can take with to the pageant. In an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, she shared, “So it is just like little pageant essentials that you need when you are competing and also a few good luck charms.”
She also added that she will keep her line open for her in case she wanted to ask or talk about something regarding the pageant. Mateo has now arrived in the U.S. and she assured her that she can reach out to her whenever she needs anything.
