Here’s what Rabiya Mateo said to people who expressed critical comments about her.

RABIYA MATEO – Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo slams critical comments from Indonesian bashers in IG posts.

First ever crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2020 that’s not under the Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) is Rabiya Mateo, a healthcare professional from Iloilo City. She is a licensed physical therapist who graduated cum laude from the higher educational institution, Iloilo Doctor’s College, in 2018.

And after winning the crown. her life seemingly went a turn around. As much as we are all aware of, Miss Universe remains one of the world’s most watched and most popular beauty pageant. This competition is held every year gathering delegates from various parts of the world.

Now, in a social media post, following an interview which sparked speculations, Rabiya slammed all the critical comments against her. Accordingly, a video from her interview is circulating online and some parts were cut off which created another view of the story igniting issues.

She explained, “The hosts gave me a situation and I had a disclaimer that this is just a role before and after this video which was also cut. I have never done to discredit or insult other candidates but putting words in my mouth and creating problems out of nothing is just toxic and it has to stop.”

Mateo furthered then on issues about bullying and that no one should ever have to experience this. People can just accordingly support their bet without having to put others down. People to criticize will always be there but as per her, hatred being a learned behavior, can be altered to give way in starting doing the right thing.
