MAYMAY ENTRATA – Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata surprised her fans with a fierce dance cover of Hwasa’s first solo song “Maria.”
Filipina actress, singer, and model Maymay Entrata rose to fame after winning the longest edition of ABS-CBN’ reality show ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ (PBB). She recently renewed her contract at the Kapamilya Strong press con.
Aside from Maymay, Kapamilya stars like Arjo Atayde, Edward Barber, Donny Pangilinan, Gary Valenciano, and Francine Diaz also signed contracts with ABS-CBN. Present at the signing were ABS-CBN president Carlo Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc. managing director Olivia Lamasan and head of treasury Rick Tan.
Maymay Entrata will be seen every Sunday on “ASAP Natin ‘To” and “iWant ASAP” online. On Wednesday, March 3, the 23-year-old celebrity treated her fans with a dance cover of Hwasa’s hit song “Maria.”
Hwasa is the lead vocalist of the K-pop group Mamamoo. The video was uploaded on her Youtube channel and has already garnered 450,534 views as of this writing.

In her IG account, Maymay Entrata explained why she chose “Maria” to be her first dance cover. She also thanked the Hwasa for the music because it inspired them to be confident.
“I chose this song to be my first dance cover coz I wanna lay down my gratefulness to the singer. Thank you Hwasa/ Ahn Hye-jin for your music. Your “Maria” song inspired us to be confident, do things in our own way and not letting other people take our light. It also empowered women to not mind others’ opinions on one’s beauty and being proud for who we are.”
“For me, accepting yourself is the truest definition of beauty. Flaws and imperfections make oneself’s perfect,” she added.
