Donny Pangilinan Proudly Post Late Grandfather Tony Ferrer’s Iconic Action Stunts
TONY FERRER – Young actor Donny Pangilinan proudly shared photos of his late grandfather, Tony Ferrer’s iconic actions stunts.
Veteran actor, producer, and film director Tony Ferrer is known for playing the role of Tony Falcon in the film series “Agent X-44” in the 60s. The movies earned him comparisons to the British superspy Bond.
He was dubbed as the James Bond of the Philippines. He worked with movie greats such as Nora Aunor, Fernando Poe Jr., and Gina Pareño.
Tony Ferrer died on Saturday, January 23. His death was confirmed by his daughter Mutya Laxa-Buensuceso. In her Instagram post, she said her father died at home in his sleep. She also revealed that her dad requested that his wake and burial will be kept private.
In a previous article, actress Maricel Laxa penned a eulogy for her late father. She took to her IG account to celebrate his life and career.

Actor Donny Pangilinan also posted a tribute video for his grandfather Tony Ferrer on his Instagram account. He proudly posted his grandfather’s iconic action stunts on his IG Stories.
Donny Pangilinan also shared a photo with his lolo and younger brother. It came with a caption, “miss you already. have fun up there lolo”
In a separate IG post, Donny Pangilinan uploaded a recent photo with his Lolo Tony. He penned a short but touching message for him: “Love you. Rest easy lolo.”
Tony Ferrer’s legacy in the entertainment industry lives on through his family: Mutya Laxa-Buensuceso is an actress and a former beauty queen, while his other daughter Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan is also an actress and mom of Donny Pangilinan.
