Pinky Amador was asked about her political views
Veteran actress Pinky Amador will not back down when it comes to bashers who have been expressing insults and ridicule against her on social media.
Pinky is one of the Kakampink and a known supporter of Leni Robredo, who is constantly criticized by DDS (Die-hard Duterte Supporters), as well as supporters of President Bongbong Marcos.
Previously, controversial director Darryl Yap criticized Pinky and her fellow Kakampink, Kapuso comedienne Pokwang, for attending PBBM’s party, “An Evening with the Stars” at the Malacañang Palace on February 13.
Pinky answered Direk Darryl’s tirade, saying that the event was for the entertainment industry, and that it would be disrespectful for her to negatively react to the event when its intention was for the industry where she belongs. The veteran actress also explained that she has known the Marcoses for a long time now.
During the grand mediacon of the upcoming Kapuso afternoon series Apoy Sa Dugo, based on the article in Bandera, Pinky Amador asserted that she is still a Kakampink. She also fired back at her bashers, calling her and other invited Kakampinks as “kain-suka.”
“Alam ko na ang tatanungin n’yo sa akin. Alam ko na. KS (kain-suka) ba yan? Starts with KS? Okay, gusto ko lang sagutin yung mga tinu-troll at bina-bash sa akin na ‘kain-suka.’ First of all, never ko namang kinain ang UniTeam. Mukhang sila naman ang sinuka ng UniTeam,” the veteran actress said.
She also stressed that attending that event did not mean that she abandoned her political beliefs.
“And it doesn’t mean that I attend one dinner, I change my political color. Hindi po ganu’n. Puwede namang nagbibigay ka ng respeto pero nandiyan pa rin ang paninindigan mo,” the veteran actress stressed.
Pinky also pointed out that her bashers were faceless, nameless, and just paid trolls. She also mentioned that she was aware of the bashing against her, and this was something she learned from Moira Tanyag, her character in the afternoon series Abot Kamay na Pangarap.
Then, Pinky stressed that she is not afraid of her bashers. “Ang pamba-bash is part of it and I just eat my bashers for breakfast. Sorry. ‘La lang,”
She added that people should be mature politically. “Kasi dapat maging mature na tayo politically, di ba? Na hindi porket nag-attend ka ng isang ano…parang si Ma’am Leni, di ba? Tinanggap si BBM dahil magbibigay ng tulong doon sa kanilang bridge. They are doing their job,” Pinky Amador stressed.
