Heart Evangelista has returned to Paris for fashion week, and this comeback marked a special moment in her career, as she was accompanied by her mother, Cecilia Ongpauco. Apart from looking alike, they also share a love for fashion.
The mother and daughter duo have been slaying PFW one look at a time, but in a deeper sense of it all, Cecilia has witnessed and realized a lot of things after seeing how her daughter does everything behind the glamorous look in every post.
“I just didn’t realize how much she puts into her craft. She just loves it and gives it more than her all. That made me so proud. I thought pa-cute cute lang siya, pa-pose pose. No! It was way different,” Ongpauco quipped.
She was emotional seeing how Heart was working hard with pure dedication for the fashion event. She felt nothing but appreciation for the passion she put into what she loves.
According to Cecilia, Heart wakes up as early as 3 or 4 a.m. and keeps going nonstop throughout the day. She said she couldn’t help but feel incredibly proud of her dedication and tireless work ethic.
“I thought pa-cute cute lang siya, pa-pose pose. No! It was way different. Kaya naiyak ako, cause I saw her… she was so tired and still going, going, going. Endless! And for me, that was so beautiful,” she said.
Meanwhile, Heart has further solidified her status as a global fashion icon as she landed among Lefty’s Top 10 Key Voices for the January 2026 Paris Menswear Fashion Week.
