PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 24, 2021 (Wednesday).

The latest weather update from the state weather bureau says that the tail end of a frontal system will be affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon, while the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect the rest of Northern Luzon.

The tail end of a frontal system will be facing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Aurora.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.

The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur3 during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the website, for the forecast wind and coastal water condition, Extreme Northern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
