61-Year-Old Woman Who Has Been Spotted Selling Plants During Dawn Elicits Comments Online
The heartbreaking photos of a 61-year-old woman selling plants during the early hours of dawn goes viral and elicits comments online.
The Facebook page “Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo” has shared the heartbreaking photos of an elderly lady selling plants during dawn hours in Plaridel, Bulacan. The post garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the photos, it can be seen that the elderly vendor is patiently waiting for customers beside the road. She is just placing her plants in front of a vacant space hoping that some customers would notice her products.
The Bayan patroller named Michelle Delos Reyes took photos of elderly lady identified as Nanay Carmelita Libao. The vendor is selling her plants for P35, P50, P70, and it depends on its type.
Nanay Carmelita and her husband were leaving their house around 4 am in the morning and start to sell their plants in front of a store. However, they have to leave their spot when the store starts to operate.
“Nanlalata nga po ako sa paghakot namin ng halaman mahirap pong tinda ito tiyaga lang di ko mabuhat mabigat kaya lang po kailangan ang pang gastos sa araw araw,” Libao said.
