Buko Vendor Earns Praises Online After Dousing Burning Tricycle w/ His Buko Juice Product
Binangonan, Rizal – A helpful buko vendor has turned into an instant hero after dousing a burning tricycle with his buko juice.
A 54-year-old buko vendor identified as Larry Lasac showed an act of heroism after helping a trike driver by dousing a burning tricycle with a container of his buko juice. He sacrificed his own products just to help the needy.
Lasac is selling buko juice on his bicycle cart when the trike driver stopped its burning tricycle along Manila East Road, which is near to his cart. He did not hesitate to act and help the driver.
“Nakita kong nahihirapan ang tricycle driver na patayin ang apoy kaya naman naisipan kong ibuhos sa nag-aapoy na tricycle ang paninda kong buko juice,” Lasac said.
The vendor sacrificed his young coconut drink worth P500 to extinguish the flame. He even used another container of mineral water to put out the fire totally and explained that his act is just a normal thing to do to help those who are in need.
Aside from buko juice, the hero vendor is also selling French fries at a school affected by the coronavirus pandemic. He is usually earning P800 to P1, 000 before the pandemic but his main source of income is severely affected by the pandemic.

Mayor Cesar Ynares of Binangonan lauded Lasac for his heroic act and give him a certificate of recognition. The office of the mayor also promised to help the vendor.
