How much did the TV5 network spend on their new shows in the last three months?

TV5 NETWORK – A source has revealed that TV5 network has accordingly spent a hefty amount already in the past 3 months for their new shows.

For the past months since the close down of the ABS-CBN network, the biggest media company in the Philippines, several of their artists transferred to TV5 network. This has caused the network to produce new and fresh shows featuring their new artists.

Among the new shows that Brightlight Productions has produced are Sunday Noontime Live (SNL), Lunch Out Loud (LOL), Sunday Kada, Oh My Dad, Rated Korina, and I Got You.

However, the shows Sunday Noontime Live and Sunday Kada have already aired their season ender’s episode. This came to a shock of a lot of peopled because both shows ended after a short time. Does this indicate that they did not do well in ratings?

According to a source of PEP, the Sunday Kada did well but their other source told otherwise saying it’s Ian Veneracion’s Oh My Dad that did well. Meanwhile, LOL, Rated Korina, and Oh My Dad will continue airing. The end of SNL paved the way for ASAP Natin ‘To.

In a previous article, ASAP Natin ‘To and FPJ: Da King will be aired on TV5 starting January 24. The collaboration accordingly “marks the start of greater cooperation among our various industry players & begins a new era of partnership.”

Moreover, for the last three months, as per PEP, TV5 has already spent almost Php 500-million in the past three months for their new shows. And the show featuring Maja SalvadorBilly CrawfordPiolo Pascual, and among others has a production cost of Php 3-million for each episode.
