Here’s what Willie Revillame said about Ariella Arida
Wowowin host Willie Revillame expressed something about the sudden exit of beauty queen Ariella Arida from the game show as one of his co-hosts.
When Ariella exited from Wowowin, several speculations surfaced. It was alleged that Willie terminated her and there were also those who speculated that there was a blooming romance between them.
In a recent episode of the Kapuso game show, based on the article from Bandera, Ariella appeared on the show as a guest. Willie’s friend Direk Edgar Mortiz was the one who asked the beauty queen.
“Nakikita na kasi kita dito sa studio noon kapag bumibisita ako kay Willie. Ano’ng nangyari? Na-in love ka ba o ano?” the actor-director asked.
The beauty queen did not answer and just looked at Willie Revillame as if she was asking for help. “Gusto kong tampalin ‘yan, e,” the TV host jokingly said and this garnered laughter from the audience.
Then, Kuya Wil shared that he thought of making Ariella as his replacement as main host when he got sick but she asked permission to exit from the show for a Miss Universe event.
“Baka akala ng mga tao tinatanggal ko ang mga co-host, hindi ho sila ang nawawala. Lagi kasi akong sinisisi, ‘Tinanggal na naman ‘yan, kukuha ng panibago kasi may edad na ‘yan,’” Willie said.
On the other hand, the game show host said that the good thing with the beauty queen is that she did not burn bridges as she continued her “pangangamusta” and she even paid him a visit.
Willie Revillame reiterated that they are not terminating co-host or “pinapalayas”. He said that their policy on being professional is just being implemented.
