Nadine Lustre talked about the possibility of being a “has been”
Actress-singer Nadine Lustre admitted that she fears that she could be “laos” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nadine, for the past five years, has done several projects on TV and in movies. Aside from this, she also has several stints when it comes to her career in music and endorsements projects.
However, due to the health crisis, everything has slowed down and in a recent vlog with Angie Mead King, Nadine admitted her fear of being a “has been”.
“I was thinking to myself na parang sh**, wala akong work so I might, you know, eventually be a ‘has been’ or you know, that kind of thing,” the actress said, based on the article from Bandera.
It is because she was not getting many projects and this made her feel stressed and pressured. On the other hand, this situation made her think of the things that she really wants to do and the things she likes to happen.
“I would have conversations with myself and I would always tell myself to just you know, ‘Take your time. There’s no rush. The world’s not going to end tomorrow,’” Nadine Lustre shared.
Despite having this situation, the actress said that she was learned not to look validations from other people. The pandemic also became her time to take a rest and find the things that she really wants to do.
This year has been quite controversial for Nadine Lustre. Her breakup with ex-boyfriend James Reid created a loud buzz as well as her legal battle against the Viva Artists Agency.
