The rumored network transfer of actress Janine Gutierrez received this reaction from entertainment columnist Lolit Solis.
In one of the recent write-up of Manay Lolit, she talked about Janine. She shared that she was quite surprised that there are rumors saying that Janine is set to transfer to ABS-CBN when her boyfriend Rayver Cruz transferred from the Kapamilya network to the Kapuso network.
“Para bang hindi klaro na masaya si Rayver sa takbo ng career niya under Artists Center, samantalang si Janine na under the same management hindi na renew ang kontrata,” the veteran showbiz personality said.
 Amid the network transfer rumor, Manay Lolit believes that there is a possibility that GMA will still offer future projects to Janine Gutierrez because she is one of the talented actresses in her generation.
In a follow-up write-up, Lolit Solis said that a prior article stating that GMA did not renew its contract with Janine will give a clarification that there is no negative thing between the network and the actress.
“Like in the case of Kris Bernal na hindi na nirenew kaya nasa TV5 ngayon. Kasi kadalasan parang damage control na ginagawa para sa isang artista na palabasin na lilipat siya at kinukuha ng iba na ang parang feeling mo may hindi maganda kaya umalis siya sa dating network,” the columnist stressed.
Manay Lolit also said that it is the prerogative of the management of the network not to renew the contract with a certain artist.
“Hindi dahil kinukuha sila ng iba kaya sila umalis, dahil wala na silang kontrata. At walang naging problema. Clear,” the entertainment columnist added.
