Tanya Garcia revealed this about Dingdong Dantes
Actress Tanya Garcia made revelations about her former onscreen partner Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
For four years, Tanya and Dingdong were loveteam partners. One of the projects that they did together was the series Sana ay Ikaw na Nga in 2001.
During the recent vlog of actress-host Carmina Villarroel, the returning Kapuso actress was her guest. They talked about the previous projects that Tanya Garcia did with Dingdong Dantes.
Tanya, who has been married to actor-politician Mark Lapid, directlyu stated that she and Dingdong never became a couple in several years of working together.
“Hindi…May ano na siya [girlfriend],” the actress shared, based on the article from GMA Entertainment. Tanya explained that during the time when she and Dingdong were loveteam partners, the actor was in a relationship with Antoinette Taus.
“Friend ko rin si Toni, super friend ko din. Actually, siyempre, ‘pag kasama mo naman si [Dingdong], almost every day, kasi kahit walang taping, may promo or may ibang guesting, siyempre, magiging crush mo rin, e,” she shared.
She added that out of respect to her friend Antoinette, she never crossed the line of just being onscreen partners. “Acting kayo ng acting 24/7 na asawa mo or boyfriend mo imposible hindi mo magustuhan, it’s just that during that time talaga, I’m friends with Toni kasi, before she left nag-usap kami,” the actress said.
On the other hand, Tanya Garcia did not deny that as a leading man, she liked Dingdong Dantes.
“So siyempre, di ba, ako, respeto ko sa kanya kasi kaibigan ko siya. Pero siyempre gusto ko si Dong, I mean, katrabaho ko siya, e,” she said.
