Here’s how Manny Pacquiao handled critical comments about rumors for his 2022 elections plans.
MANNY PACQUIAO -Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has this response to people who don’t want him to run for president in the 2022 elections.
Been a rumor since then is the plan of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao for the 2022 elections. He’s always been mum about this and in his recent interview, he answered this based on a previous article, “Politics is not on my mind right now because people are suffering, starving, and we need to be united and think about what help we can extend to them.”
Recently, he just got installed as President of the Ruling PDP-Laban National Party and the executive vice president is House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco. Now, with the speculations still ongoing, many people have already expressed objection if ever he’ll run for the presidency.
They respect and look up to him as a boxer but they prefer him to focus on boxing and not get involved with politics. And to those who disagree with this, he has this statement for them, “You cannot please everyone. I can easily forego politics but not the opportunity to serve the people.”
Meanwhile, to recall, Pacquiao, amid the pandemic and other disasters, has always been actively helping the people. Also, he confirmed that he can possibly have a fight or two in a year because he missed it and doing exercises.
He also revealed that he received a film offer which will feature his life story. Oscar-winning star of Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami Malek, will portray him and Leonardo DiCaprio will take the role Freddie Roach, his trainer.
