FLIGHT ADVISORY – The airport authorities has released the list of canceled flights today due to inclement weather condition.

Tropical Depression Vicky carrying heavy rains and strong winds result to an inclement weather conditions over some parts of the Philippines.  The weather disturbance has also triggered flooding in Visayas and Mindanao.

Vicky has maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 55 kph moving 20 kph at a west direction. The storm is now moving generally west-northwestward over the Sulu Sea.

Vicky is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday afternoon or evening (December 20, 2020).

On Saturday (December 19, 2020), the Manila International Airport Authority released the list of suspended flights due to the inclement weather conditions brought by the tropical cyclone.

The airport authorities postponed or canceled the flights to ensure the safety of both passengers and employees amid the bad weather.
