Jane de Leon & Arjo Atayde Work Together in MMK Episode
JANE DE LEON – The on-screen pairing of the next Darna actress and Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde elicited comments from netizens.
Although the ABS-CBN Network has yet to obtain a new franchise to operate, there are several other platforms and channels where Kapamilya programs can be viewed.
One of these platforms is the social media like Facebook and the video-sharing platform YouTube. Many Kapamilya shows have returned to taping and airings now.
One of those that are back is the Maalaala Mo Kaya or MMK. Its recent episode with a title The Doctor Is In hooked the viewers. It is starred by Arjo Atayde who is paired with young actress Jane de Leon in the said episode featuring a real-life story.
The said MMK episode starring Arjo and Jane features the real life story of Dr. Israel Bactol, a young cardiologist who died of COVID-19 in the line of duty. He is one of the many hero doctors who contracted the disease while treating patients.

In the said episode, Jane plays the role of Doc Lerma, the girlfriend of Doc El. Even the girlfriend of the late doctor was not allowed to get near to him while he was isolated and fighting for his life against COVID-19.
Recently, Jane de Leon took to social media photos of her and Arjo Atayde which are part of their MMK episode. Their on-screen pairing elicited comments from the netizens.
