Barbie Forteza wanted to explore this aspect in her acting career
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza shared that she aspires to be a theater actress.
Barbie started young in the entertainment industry through portraying the younger characters of leading ladies in teleseryes. Eventually, she was given a chance to showcase her acting caliber with leading roles.
With her efficiency in portraying different roles in various genres, projects continue to come her way. She has been receiving praise for her portayals in teleseryes and movies.
Aside from the small and the big screen, based on the articel in GMA Entertainment, Barbie Forteza admitted that she also wanted to try theater. She shared this aspiration when she attended the gala night of PETA’s Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 4: Oh Sht! It’s Live sa Cheter!
“I have dreams to be on theater. I just need to gather more courage and confidence maybe,” the Kapuso Primetime Princesss.
However, for now, Barbie said that she is waiting for the right project for her, and something that she would really feel worth pursuing, since preparing for theater would require months.
When asked about her dream role, she said, that as of now, nothing stood out, and she will just say yes when the right material comes.
Barbie also shared that watching the aforementioned play, she grew a deep appreciation for theater performers because the audience only gets to see the finish product, and not all the preparations behind it.
The actress also commended the production for how they told the story and the humor that came along with it. She also encouraged the public to watch the play. Barbie Forteza was also delighted to see the support that the theater community has been receiving. “I am very happy. Sana ganito rin ang pelikula,” she said.
