NPA Rebels Attacks Soldiers Responding To Typhoon Ulysses
NPA REBELS – NPA Rebels recently attacked soldiers who responded to typhoon Ulysses in a village in Quezon Province.
This came from a Twitter report from News 5, which said that soldiers of the 85th Infantry Battalion had an encounter with about 20 members of the New People’s Army.
The incident took placce in Brgy. Lahing in the town of Macalelon in the Quezon province on Thursday, according to authorities.
Fortunately, no soldiers were harmed during the encounter which took 50 minutes. Retrieved from the encounter were improvised explosive device, bullets and a bandolier.
The authorities condemns the NPA’s attacked against soldiers who were in the middle of their humanitarian and disaster efforts in response to Typhoon Ulysses. Here is the said tweet.
