Actress Nadia Montenegro shared on her Instagram account a video showing her devastating experience during typhoon Ulysses.
Indeed, the calamity does not choose any person to be a victim. People from different walks of life suffered from flooding brought by the typhoon’s heavy rain.
Even Nadia and her family had a difficult time during the flooding. In the video that she shared, the floodwaters already reached inside their house. The photos she shared showed that they were trying to save their belongings.
In the comment section, Nadia has this reply: “ubos Ey. Everything inside. Gone! Pero safe lahat.”
In the recent update that she posted, Nadia Montenegro got emotional when she shared the story the morning after the typhoon. “We are all safe, me and the kids, although watak-watak kami,” the actress said.
She got teary-eyed as she mentioned that she is not used being in this kind of situation. Nadia said that before, she is on the other side as she is the one helping but she felt hopeless that she can’t help amid the crisis.
“Pero I’m so grateful to be on the other side with all the help that we are receiving, all the love that we are receiving from each and everyone of you,” she added.
Then, Nadia shared what happened. She said things happened so fast the wall of the creek beside their house suddenly fell down when they were trying to save their cars.
Without knowing, the water suddenly rushed and they weren’t able to save anything. “Pero I’m so grateful to be on the other side with all the help that we are receiving, all the love that we are receiving from each and everyone of you,” the actress said.
Despite what happened to her, she is praying also for all the victims of typhoon Ulysses as this situation strengthened her faith. In the caption of her Instagram post, Nadia Montenegro also thanked all the people who helped them.
