Here’s how Mariel and Robin Padilla reacted to actor being reported as dead in a fake news.
ROBIN PADILLA – Celebrity married couple Robin Padilla and Mariel Padilla reacted to fake news about the actor’s death circulating online.
Social media nowadays, instead of being used to spread positivity and updates about current events, it has become some people’s platform to spread fake news. Many people, especially the famous personalities, were the victims of this and often times, it is about their death. This is which is why it is always important to think before clicking and to always make sure that your sources are the legit websites.
And recently, Robin Padilla was a victim of this. In the fake news about his death, the caption expressed condolences and even wrote to his wife to stay strong. But the veteran actor is so much alive. In the caption of his post, he just shared a prayer. “RIP Robin Padilla” and “1969-2020” was written in the fake post.
His wife Mariel reacted in the comment section an observation she had wherein a lot of this kind of reports online about her husband has emerged saying, “Lagi sila may ganyan”. Robin, in his response, replied that he’s not in control of other people and has already consulted the authorities about this but gain no result.
He used prayers as a hit back to the ill reports about him. It stated, “I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, from anything harmful in Creation,
from the evil of darkness as it spreads, from the evil of knotted spells,
from the evil of the envier when he envies.”
