Here’s what Enchong Dee said to MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago.
ENCHONG DEE – Famous Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee has this strong statement against MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago following her comment about Reina Mae Nasino.
Activist Reina Mae Nasino was jailed last November 2019. When she gave birth to baby River, they were separated a month after but three months following then, the baby died due to acute respiratory distress syndrome on October 9. People calls out to free Nasino who was given a continuous 3-day furlough for the wake and burial of her child.
The continuous 3-day furlough was cut down to 6 hours only divided in two days. And MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago calling this as a “drama serye” and for expressing zero sympathy to a mother and to her fellow woman sparked outrage online.
This is what her statement said:
“Kaya iyong mga sumisimpatiya kay Reina Mae Nasino, pag-aralan ‘nyo mabuti ang dahilan bakit siya nakulong at kilalanin ‘nyong mabuti kung sino siya sa lipunan,” the MMDA assistant secretary said. “Masyado ninyong ginagawang pang-drama serye sa hapon ang paghihinagpis niya. Tigilan ‘nyo!”
The original post was deleted but a screenshot has been posted. She said that not all all mothers who are detained are allowed to join their children’s burials. She then added that this is which is why that people who sympathize with Nasino should understand and know first why she got detained and what she did to the society and to put drama out of her grief must be stopped.
And Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee, one of the few celebrities who is always vocal about his opinions, lambasted the MMDA spokesperson saying that she is heartless and unintelligent. He even told her to put herself in the situation of the mother and added, “Bilang isang tao… ok lang talaga sayo??”
