Enchong Dee Shares Why he Did Not Lay Off a Single Employee in His Company Amid Crisis

Actor Enchong Dee explained why he did not lay off a single employee in his company during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

As many business sectors have closed their doors due to the COVID-19 threat, lots of Filipinos have lost their jobs. Other business sectors need to lay off some of their employees because of revenue losses.

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Kapamilya actor Enhong Dee chose not to lay off any of his employees from his homegrown chain of restaurants. The actor has resumed the dine-in operations for some of his restaurant branches specializing in charcoal-grilled chicken, based on the article of Push.

Enchong also gave an update about his employees, which he said all are healthy and safe. “I’m proud to announce that all our employees in our branches of @pericharcoalph are healthy and safe,” he said.

Explaining why he chose not to lay off his employees, Enchong said: “Our company did not lay off a single employee as we know how hard it is to be unemployed at this time of uncertainty.”

While some restaurants are operating under limited capacity as compliance with the mandatory safety protocols, Enchong also said his company is currently offers catering and food delivery services around Metro Manila.

“To any companies around the Metro looking for an everyday catering/delivery of food, let’s meet in person and we are ready to provide fresh meals for you,” he said.
