MARIEL PADILLA – Kapamilya host and actress Mariel Padilla has this answer when a netizen asked him about returning to “Its Showtime”.
Eddie Villanueva’s Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc. rebranded to “A2Z” following an agreement to lease airtime for ABS-CBN shows and movies. Media giant ABS-CBN Corp. shut down and stopped operations after the Congress didn’t gave them a fresh franchise.
Based in a previous article, ABS-CBN partnered with Eddie Villanueva’s Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc. where they will finally air some of their programs which included “Its Showtime“. And just in time of the show’s 11 anniversary, people were elated to finally see them on free television.
Anne Curtis will soon return to the show and another host who also gave birth, Mariel Padilla, was asked when she will be returning to the show and she has an intriguing answer. She responded, “[ABS-CBN] is my home. In my mind and in my heart… when the time is right I will be back.”
Amid the legal battle of ABS-CBN, Mariel’s husband, veteran actor and action star Robin Padilla, has a statement that caught social media attention. It was where he stated, “Mayaman o Mahirap may kapangyarihan o wala sikat man o hindi ang lahat dapat ay pantay pantay sa harap ng Batas dahil ang hustisya ay walang tinitignan o tinititigan ANG MALI ay MALI at ang TAMA ay TAMA…”
Robin is a known supporter of the present administration and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, since he became the country’s leader, has always been vocal about taking down the network in any way he can.
