Robin Padilla has this post which garners conclusion that it is about the ABS-CBN franchise issue
Actor Robin Padilla shared this post on his Instagram account and this garnered the conclusion that he was talking about the issue on the ABS-CBN franchise.
It is known to many that Robin is a supporter of the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte who is very vocal of his views regarding the renewal of the Kapamilya network’s franchise. Amid this issue, especially that Solicitor General Jose Calida petitioned to cancel the franchise of ABS-CBN, several Kapamilya stars showed support for their mother network.
Through their social media accounts, Kapamilya stars such as Bea Alonzo, Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, and many more, showed that they are in unison with the network on this matter. However, Robin Padilla, who did several shows in the Kapamilya network, appeared to be having a different view regarding this issue.
He shared a photo on his Instagram account a photo showing the Lady Justice statue with a quote from 26th United States of America President Theodore Roosevelt. “No man is above the law and no man is above the law,” the quote stated. In his caption, the actor tackled that everyone should receive fair treatment when it comes to the legal aspect.

Panay na nga ang labag natin sa batas ng Dios napakapambihira naman kung pati batas ng tao lalabag pa rin tayo. Anong klase na tayong tao at lahi…”
This received a comment from Instagram user @happyholiday0323 who said, “Sobra na ang [ABS]! Yun nga lang mawawalan ng work si Mariel.” Mariel Padilla, Robin Padilla’s wife is one of the hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime. She just took a maternity break.
