Why did Sandara Park apologize to her ex-boyfriends?
K-Pop star Sandara Park expressed an apology to her ex-boyfriends because of this particular reason.
Sandara was able to establish a good career in South Korea after she started her showbiz stint in the Philippines. Through the Kapamilya talent search Star Circle Quest, she was given a shot in the entertainment industry.
Years later after she was launched as a Kapamilya artists, Sandara, who is also known as Dara now, paved her way into the entertainment industry in South Korea. She was able to be part of the K-Pop group 2NE1 that also became popular in the Philippines.
As a member of the K-Pop group, Sandara Park, just like the others, went through an intensive training. Based on the article from The Philippine Star, she shared that he was not allowed to date while she was on training.
“I had a non-face-to-face relationship even before COVID-19,” she said during the recent episode of KBS Joy’s Love’s Intervention. It has been a part of the South Korean’s entertainment tradition that an artist should undergo years of training before the launching takes place.
“As a trainee, I was scolded for being in a relationship and had my cell phone taken away by my manager. Even after debuting, there was a ban on dating for five years,” Sandara revealed.
She added that she obeyed this rule unlike other K-Pop stars who dated secretly. The 35-year-old singer said she just started dating just recently.
“Only recently, I decided to have an active relationship. All I needed was the will. I take this opportunity to apologize to my ex-boyfriends,” Sandara Park said.
Meanwhile, after all these years, Sandara is still attached to Filipino culture. In one of her recent vlogs, she featured the Filipino market in South Korea and shared with her producer the things about the Philippines.
