Natalie Portman confirmed Thor 4 is happening
Thor 4 is in the works as what award-winning actress Natalie Portman, the leading lady of Chris Hemsworth, confirmed.
The first movie that was based on Marvel Comics was released in 2011. Two years after that, the Thor: The Dark World premiered in theaters. The thirds installment in the movie series was released in 2017. Now, after three years. Portman confirmed the fourth installment is coming.
Based on the article from Digital Spy, Portman is currently training “to get muscles.” She also appeared to be hinting about the story plot of the fourth Thor movie.
Portman said that Jane Foster, here character, will be some kind of a female Thor in Love and Thunder. “She’s going through cancer treatment and is a superhero on the side,” the actress shared.
However, it is still arguable if she’s talking about the major story plot of the Thor 4 or if she was just citing the plot from the comic.
Meanwhile, director Taika Waititi revealed that Jane Foster’s new found power is not the only thing people should be excited about for the fourth installment.
“It is so insane and it’s also very romantic. I’m into romances now. I want to make romance. I want to make something that I’ve never done or never cared for. I would like to attack something like that,” the film director said.
He also said that they have been writing the script for the Love and Thunder on and off. Just like other film productions, they also encounter delays in the movie release. However, Waititi said that this could be an advantage for them to really work on the script.
The target release of Thor 4 is on February 11, 2022.
