Taylor Swift Releasing 8th Album “Folklore”
TAYLOR SWIFT – Superstar Taylor Swift just announced her 8th album called “Folklore.”
American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is considered as one of the greatest artists of her generation. She has inspired millions of people around the world with her meaningful songs. She was barely 20 years old when she won her first Grammy.
Taylor’s music has latched onto its listeners in intimate ways. Aside from that, she also uses her platform to inspire young musicians to create their own music and shed light on the music industry’s unfairness.
While in isolation due to the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Taylor Swift created a new album. In a post on her Instagram account on Thursday, she made a surprise announcement. She said her eighth record “Folklore,” comes less than a year after she released “Lover.”
“Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore. Surprise…”
“Tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into. I wrote and recorded this music in isolation”, she wrote.

Taylor Swift said the standard edition of her album will include sixteen (16) tracks. It will feature Bon Iver, Jack Antonoff, and Aaron Dessner.
The 30-year-old superstar also said that the music video for her new song “Cardigan” will be released at midnight Eastern. She said they took extra safety precautions while shooting.
