DARWIN DORMITORIO CASE – Arrest warrants to three (3) PMA cadets suspects of the death of Darwin Dormitorio have been issued.

Late PMA cadet Darwin Dormitorio’s death erupted online last September 2019. He is just a freshman, 20 years old, and his death only proved that there’s hazing going inside the academy. He was maltreated and abused physically to the point that it severely damaged several of his internal organs.

His autopsy result showed that he suffered from blunt force trauma causing internal hemorrhage which ultimately caused his untimely death. Seven (7) PMA upper-class cadets and two doctors will be facing criminal charges as per previous report. The incident is a clear violation of Anti-Hazing Law.

The seven (7) upper class cadets involved in the incident were: Cadet Third Class Shalimar Imperial, Felix M. Lumbag Jr., John Vincent Manalo, Julius Carlo Tadena, Rey David John Volante, Cadet Second Class Christian Zacarias, and Cadet First Class Axl Ret Sanopao.

And now, in a report from ABS-CBN, cadets Shalimar Imperial Jr, Felix Lumbag Jr, and Julius Carlo Tadena are facing non-bailable offenses as the Baguio Regional Trial Court finally issues arrest warrants against them. The court ordered arrest of three PMA cadets over death of Dormitorio.

PMA Station Hospital officials Capt. Flor Apple Apostol, Maj. Maria Ofelia Beloy and Lt. Col. Ceasar Candelaria are also arrested for murder with their bail at Php 200,000.00 each.

Aside from his organs being badly beaten, his private part also got electrocuted, his testicles were swollen and there were four pinpoint burns, swollen and congested brain, massive subcutaneous hematoma at the right fronto-temporal area, engorgement of cerebral blood vessels, bruised and swollen kidneys, ruptures and tear in large intestines, and blood-filled stomach due to infection which reached two (2) liters.
