Update on United States COVID-19 Cases, Deaths & Recoveries Now
UNITED STATES – U.S. recorded more than 50,000 new cases of coronavirus or COVID-19 in just 24 hours.
Undeniably, the COVID-19 pandemic has shaken a lot of healthcare systems across the globe. It has changed the way people live and the day-to-day realities are no longer the same.
More than 200 countries and territories across the globe were affected by the said pandemic. This disease was first recorded in China last December 2019.
COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus. It is known to be characterized by flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, and breathing difficulties. On another side, a person may be positive for this coronavirus disease but remain asymptomatic.

The COVID-19 has spread across the globe rapidly. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) was alarmed by how fast the infection spread. According to the international body, it is going to be a long-term battle against the disease.
Currently, United States is the country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases recorded. Based on a global tally of Worldometer, in just 24 hours, U.S. recently recorded 56,931 new cases of coronavirus.
The recent addition to the count of COVID-19 in the United States brings the total to 2,836,884. Based on the tally, 131,477 deaths were recorded and the total recoveries now is at 1,191,061.
The pandemic is not yet over and everyone must still be extra careful. Letting the guards down as early as now may result in a second wave of the disease.
Currently, the wearing of face mask is a protocol to most countries with confirmed cases of COVID-19. Social distancing is also observed to prevent the spread of the disease.
