Arnel Pineda Releases New Song for COVID-19 Frontliners Titled ‘Your Soldiers’
ARNEL PINEDA – Filipino singer Arnel Pineda released a new song for COVID-19 frontliners titled ‘Your Solders.’
Pinoys have been paying tribute to healthcare workers and other COVID-19 frontliners. They are putting their lives at risk just to defend the rest of us against the coronavirus pandemic.
People are donating protective gear, giving salute, poems, and drawings – these are just some of the ways they are showing their appreciation to the heroes amid the coronavirus pandemic. Rep. Alfredo Garbin of AKO BICOL party-list proposed that the nurses and doctors who died in the line of duty deserve to the buried at the ‘Libingan Ng Mga Bayani.’
In a previous article, a Filipino artist named AG Saño created a mural painting at a building in Quezon City that features the famous Pinay superheroine ‘Darna’ in face mask and scrub suit. Actress Angel Locsin shared the photos on her Instagram account.
Recently, Filipino singer-songwriter Arnel Pineda recorded a new song dedicated to the healthcare workers in the Philippines. The song titled “Your Soldiers” was specially written for COVID-19 frontliners. It was arranged by Gabriel Tagadtad and produced by Jonathan Manalo.
The lead singer of the famous American rock band Journey said the pop-rock track also serves as a call of unity amid the coronavirus crisis. Pineda’s latest single can be played on various digital platforms.
Part of the lyrics went, “Can’t help but Answer to the call Be brave, sacrifice Though our lives’ won’t suffice Our selfless shot To stand together, not to fall Our faith, our love Shall fiercely fight to the end.”
