Jane de Leon talked about her Darna costume
Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon shared the moment she saw the design of her Darna costume.
Being the new Darna, it is inevitable that people would already expect that Jane will make it grand. This is also aside from the fact that many people have already anticipated the movie to happen.
Unfortunately, there were bumps along the way just like the injury that happened to the first-choice actress Angel Locsin, as well as to Liza Soberano who reportedly has trained for this already. When Jane was named as the new Darna, fans of the iconic Pinay superhero saw hope that the movie will push through.
Indeed, this is happening as the Kapamilya actress shared during an interview with PUSH that she has been training almost every day now. Jane de Leon shared that her role in the episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya on Saturday as a female boxer (Nesthy Petecio) helped her training for Darna.
“Almost every day, almost every day na po ako nagte-training. Fitness training, stunt training, halo-halo po. Kaya actually eto pong boxing sobrang laki rin ng tulong sa akin,” Jane said.
In doing the said episode of MMK, the actress said she was able to talk to Nesthy and relate to each other the story of their lives before.
She shared that she was already doing boxing as her exercise even before. When asked about her Darna costume, Jane said that she has not tried it yet. However, the young actress said that the production showed her the design.
“Nung pinakita po sa akin yung costume [design], pina-check lang sa akin kung gusto ko, or any suggestions ganyan, pero siyempre sa Mars Ravelo [family] pa rin nakasalalay yung huling sagot natin diyan,” she shared during the interview.
