PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 3, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the bureau states that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will affect Palawan, Western Visayas, and Mindanao on this day.

Accordgin to GMA News, the bureau is currently observing a Low Pressure Area (LPA) that was last spotted at about 635 kilometers east of the town of Apami, Cagayan or 610 kilometers northeast of Casiguran town, Aurora at 3 AM.

The ITCZ will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Mindanao, Western Visayas, and Palawan. The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country, will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to thunderstorms. The bureau also warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, extreme northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving southwestward with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to south direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
