Daniel said that it was the time when he was paired with Kathryn in Growing Up. “Eh, di ba mahusay talagang artista yun? Bata pa artista na at nakapag-‘Mara Clara’ na siya noon,” the actor said.
At that time, Kathryn was first paired with Albie Casino and in the following episode, Daniel entered the scenario. Because of that, Daniel shared many fans of the actress did not openly accept him at first.
