PAGASA – Ambo To Leave PAR, Fair, Warm Weather Expected This May 18, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this May 18, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state weather bureau says that Ambo, who is now a low pressure area, is heading out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility on this day.

According to GMA News, Metro Manila, as wee as the rest of the country, will face fair and warm weather until noon. The nation will also face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers

The bureau added that localized thunderstorms might occur in the afternoon or evening.

Flash floods or landslides might occur, especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, the LPA was last seen at about 155 kilometers northeast of Basco town, Batanes.

The following temperature rangs will be faced by the following areas.

  • Tuguegarao: 26ºC-36ºC
  • Laoag: 26ºC-33ºC
  • Metro Manila: 27ºC-34ºC
  • Tagaytay: 21ºC-32ºC
  • Legazpi: 26ºC-32ºC
  • Puerto Princesa: 27ºC-34ºC
  • Cebu: 28ºC-34ºC
  • Iloilo: 26ºC-32ºC
  • Tacloban: 27ºC-32ºC
  • Cagayan de Oro: 25ºC-32ºC
  • Davao: 25ºC-32ºC
  • Zamboanga: 26ºC-33ºC

Northern Luzon will face moderate to strong coastal waters, while the rest of the country will face slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at around 5:28 AM and will set at around 6:18 PM.
