The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the ridge of a High Pressure Area or HPA and the warm winds from the east or easterlies will affect the Philippines on this day.

According to GMA News, the HPA ridge extends over Northern and Central Luzon.

The HPA ridge , as well as the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The bureau said that these weather systems will bring no significant impact over the country.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the eastern section of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to northwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will also have light to moderate winds but are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
