PAGASA – High Pressure Area Ridge, Easterlies To Affect The Country This May 5, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this May 5, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the ridge of a High Pressure Area or HPA can be spotted extending northern and central Luzon, while the warm winds of the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.

According to GMA News, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with rain showers and isolated thunderstorms over the island province of Palawan.

The easrerlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving eastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
