The video footage of MMDA officer apprehending a motorist and issuing a violation ticket amid health crisis elicits comments online.
Traffic enforcers and personnel are tasked to control and manage the flow of traffic along the road. They are also tasked to ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians under their area of jurisdiction.
Road officers are also authorized to apprehend motorists and vehicle drivers who will violate the traffic rules and regulations. However, they should implement the policy with love, respect, and consideration towards others.
Recently, a Facebook user named Dondon Budionganon has shared the video footage of MMDA officer who apprehended him and give them a violation ticket amid the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine.
In the video, it can be seen that the traffic personnel apprehended Budionganon and its colleagues. The officer also gave them a violation ticket although they have already showed a certification.
