VICE GANDA – Well-loved Kapamilya Vice Ganda has this comment about PH Vice President Leni Robredo and Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto amid issues.
Kapamilya comedian, host, and actor Vice Ganda speaks amid controversial political issues. In a post on Twitter, he expressed his gratitude to Vice President Leni Robredo, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, and everyone who are on the line just to save the country and the people.
He even stressed, “Kontribusyon hindi kompetisyon”. Truly, during this time of crisis, it is not about being in competition with other people but helping one another in any form to ease the problem and to hasten the situation as we all want to resolved this problem caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
This came after controversial issue versus the two politicians erupted online. Vice President Robredo should be probed by NBI as per Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Commissioner Manuelito Luna. Accordingly, she was doing illegal solicitation and was “competing with the national government’s efforts” battling coronavirus.
The NBI also sent a summon to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto after he supposedly violated a law which was not a law yet at that time. It is the Bayanihan law which was passed just March 24 and their reason for sending the summon against him was done around March 17.

Meanwhile, Office of the Vice President (OVP) has already done free shuttle service and free dormitories for the frontline workers, and raised Php 36.2-million for the PPEs of health workers.
