Alden Richards was praised by Christopher de Leon
Veteran actor Christopher de Leon seems to be getting to know Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards better as they work together on the set of the upcoming medical drama series Code Grey.
Previously, Alden extended his special thanks to Christopher for being part of the said project. It has been a dream for the younger actor to work with the veteran star.
The Kapuso star even mentioned in a previous interview that one particular scene with Christopher made him realize that he was Greyson, his character.
In an interview with talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, Christopher de Leon also nothing but praise for Alden Richards, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.
The veteran actor reflected on his experience sharing scenes with the Kapuso star. Christopher immediately expressed his admiration for Alden’s personality.
“Very sharp. Sharp guy. I thought he was like a shy type. ‘Yung ginagawa namin ngayon is Code Grey. Tungkol ‘to sa mga doctors. I play the chief director of the hospital. Resident sila…Nahihirapan kami sa mga terms, ‘yung medical terms. Wow! Tongue twisters lahat. But we have to memorize (and be precise) all of them,” Christopher said.
Aside from being sharp, Christopher also appreciates the good vibes Alden brings to the set.
“Si Alden, I find him so sweet and funny. I don’t know. He’s like a kid pala. Every time nakikita ko siya, miski na siguro ‘yung mga ordinaryong tao na nakakakita sa kanya are very, like, tahimik, very respectful. Pero sa set, ano pala siya he’s a jolly and a nice person,” he said.
In their conversation, Alden Richards was also among those praised by Christopher de Leon as one of the disciplined actors currently in showbiz.
He takes his hat off to the actors of today as they are very disciplined, and they know how to handle their money, contrasting them with some actors from the past whom he described as “reckless or the ‘rebel without a cause’ type.
Christopher mentioned Coco Martin, Richard Gutierrez, and Piolo Pascual, aside from Alden Richards, for doing well, and being businessmen.
“They’re all disciplined and they’re professional. Very professional, except for some, not all. Pero mas malaking porsyento ng ‘yung professional. They know how to handle their money. They’re on time sa set,” the veteran actor said.
