Coronavirus Death: Stepdad Of This Fil-Am Actor Dies Due To COVID-19

This Fil-Am actor’s stepfather succumbed to Coronavirus Disease 2019 – another Coronavirus death recorded.

CORONAVIRUS DEATH – Another death due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 recorded and it happens to be the stepfather of this Filipino-American actor.

Filipino-American actor Nico Santos is known being the sales associate Mateo Liwanag in the NBC series Superstore. Other shows and programs he appeared at were Ground Floor, Go-Go Boy Interrupted, 2 Broke Girls, Noches Con Platanito, and among others.

And just recently, through an Instagram post, he shared that his stepfather passed away and his untimely is due to the highly contagious Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19. He described his stepfather as a kind and caring man.

In the sad he shared on social media, he wrote, “He was a kind, caring man. Friendly to a fault. He always greeted strangers walking past him with a chipper ‘Good Morning!’ and a big smile. He had a great laugh that filled the room with joy.”

Meanwhile, his mother is as well fighting for her life as she contracted COVID-19. The happenings were devastating and they weren’t able to see him during his last moments. The virus, as per his words, has set his family apart.

He even added this in his post, “I can’t hold my mother as she mourns her husband. I can’t hug my brother as he contemplates a world without his father. I can’t wipe away the tears from my nephews’ eyes as they wonder why their Lolo Sonny isn’t here anymore.”
