Update on the Coronavirus Cases in the Philippines From DOH

DOH – The Department of Health confirmed 45 new cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19.

The Philippines is now implementing several measures to curb the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the country. Officially called as COVID-19, it has taken twelve (12) lives in PH due to coronavirus,

Not only the Philippines is affected by the disease that first emerged in China. The United States, Iran, Singapore, South Korea, and Italy are just few of those with confirmed cases of the disease.

After seeing how the said cpronavirus strain can lodge an outbreak, the PH authorities are on maximum efforts to curb the spread of disease. Luzon is now under an “enhanced community quarantine”.

Recently, an update from the Department of Health (DOH) crossed the surface. According to the health department, as of 12:00 noon today, 45 new coronavirus cases were recorded bringing the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country to 187.
